What to expect at Catalyst Chiropractic

Initial Consultation

Your first visit to Catalyst Chiropractic will be your initial consultation. The initial consultation takes about an hour and consists of:

  • Completing your appropriate paperwork
    >New Patient Form
    >New Patient Form for Under 13's
  • Watching an introductory DVD (7 minutes)
  • Bilateral Weight Scale Analysis
  • Digital Postural Analysis
  • Confidential Client History
  • Thermal and s-emg scans
  • Range of Motion Tests
  • Chiropractic Palpatory Analysis
  • Appropriate Orthopedic Analysis
  • X-Rays when necessary

Your chiropractor will not provide any chiropractic care on the initial consultation. It is an assessment only. You will be told if chiropractic care can help you. If chiropractic care is appropriate for you, you will need to make an appointment for a Report of Findings.

Report of Findings

Prior to you arriving for your Report of Findings, your chiropractor will have analysed the results of your initial consultation and prepared a report specifically for you.

Your report of Findings takes about 45 minutes and consists of:

  • Watching an explanatory DVD (9 minutes)
  • A visual and verbal Report of Findings
  • Your first adjustment

After your Report of Findings, you can begin your schedule of Regular Adjustments.

Regular Adjustments

Regular Adjustments are much shorter in duration (about 5 minutes) and consist of

  • Vertebral Subluxation Detection & Analysis
  • Chiropractic Adjustments

After a period of regular adjustments, you will need to have a re-examination.

Re-examinations

Re-examinations take about 15 minutes and consist of:

  • All of the tests that were completed on your initial consultation (except for x-rays)
  • A Regular adjustment

On the next visit after your Re-examination you will have a Re-examination Report.

Re-examination Report

Your Re-examination Report will take approximately 10 minutes and consists of:

  • A report on your progress to date
  • A discussion of goals for the future
  • A Regular Adjustment
